What we are facing

The biggest issue facing our country today is our economy and continued recovery from recession.  Though our unemployment levels have officially become much lower, real unemployment is still fairly high and work participation rates have lagged behind.  An alarming percentage of our younger generations cannot secure jobs after graduation, or are underemployed.  They also struggle with paying off their student loans and credit cards.  Over the years, our government has expanded in size and power with new regulations, mandates, executive orders, overreaching and intrusion.  We have been running huge budget deficits and misappropriating money through corporate welfare, corruption, bailouts, stimulus packages, and crony initiatives.  Also, the continuation of wars over the past 16 years has added at least $7 trillion to our expenditures.  The too-big-to-fail banks and Wall Street have increased their influence and dominance over our country’s affairs.  While they have raked in huge profits and received multimillion-dollar bonuses, the incomes of the working people have been stagnant and home ownership rates have fallen.  We have empowered China and others foreign governments through the NAFTA and other trade agreements, and encouraged them to export their products to our country while our manufacturing base has slowly disappeared.  Some profitable companies have inserted their influence over elected officials and received unnecessary and costly tax breaks.  Unnecessary EPA regulations and Obamacare implementation have also prolonged our recovery.”

As you know, it is very important to vote this Primaries on August 7th, 2018, and prove that American democracy is still alive, working well, and that anything is possible with hard work, dedication, and the right values in place.  Please make your choice to the best of your desires and vote; if you don’t vote you cannot complain in the future.
